Gift-Giving and Taking

It feels like I was just doing this the other day, but anyway. You know what time it is: Christmas in July, a tradition started 3 years ago in which rpg characters give gifts to other characters. Since I can't think of anything right now I'll come back, in a bit...and give everyone some socks.

As you can see, today we did quite a different thing from the usual Christmas party. Today, instead of everyone of my people giving other people's people gifts as a collective group, they all just couldn't agree and decided to give individual gifts.

Ruki—a friend or two in the form of Ura and Warui; an offer to be experimented on, from TS; a scream of horror, from Raquel; a look of utter disgust from Misaki.

Catboy – whatever he wants, from Ura; Puella’s freedom, from Ura; a chance to get alone with Puella for a romantic little rendezvous, from Ura; an inquisitive stare, from Warui; a hug, from Temacu; “an opportunity to ‘breed’ with a ‘certain ocelot-girl’,” from TS; a smile, from Puella; a challenge to a match, from Satoshi.

Tago—a trip for two to see the white tigers at Bradbury Safari, from Musashi; the Eight-Tracking game for Phoni Cam 2, from Ura; a hug from Temacu; “an opportunity to ‘breed’ with a ‘certain ocelot-girl’,” from TS.

Faust—a relaxing five-day vacation, from Ura; stares and sighs of admiration, from Dr. Speyer; a disapproving scowl, from Musashi; a hug, from Temacu; “an opportunity to ‘breed’ with a ‘certain ocelot-girl’,” from TS.

Bebedora—the book How Normal Little Girls Act and Talk by Happi Ann Coot and A Lesson on Right and Wrong in Today’s Confused Society by Syn Baad, both from Warui; a pet, from Karen; and an apple, from Satoshi.

Yosh—How Not to Act Like You Know it All by Hut Up, from Warui; more socks from Satoshi; an “I didn’t know what to get you so I got you this radical antique” object from two TEAM members who wish to remain anonymous for their safety.

Thantos–Concerning the Concept of Love by Rose Shreve, from Kojirou; song and dance performance, from Kurai; The Pied Piper from Raquel.

Kusanagi—the Spencer Estate from someone with wicked intentions; an party to celebrate their second anniversary as a married couple, from Temacu.

Claire – a challenge to a fight, from a certain fire sprite who wants to remain anonymous for his or her safety.

Nico—new equipment and technology that won’t break down when trying to identify sprites from Warui; offered partnership from Brad of the Trust Corporation.

Eyasha—Concerning the Word ‘Duty’ and It’s Negative Implications by Corin Super Rudy, from Warui; a warning, from Misaki.

Khaine—nothing; no one likes him at this time.

Musashi-A big hug form Misio. A romantic and censored encounter with Tago. One of those little bug houses filled with fireflies from Zehn, Zhang, Catboy and Misio. A pat on the head form Faust. A small pouch of rubies from Yoshazura. An offer for a duel from Thantos.

Karen-A caring embrace from Yosh. A death threat from Khaine

Koujirou-A hug and offer to dinner from Zhang. A small pouch of sapphires from Yosh. An apology from Tago. A shirt that says "Love sucks" from Tago. An economy sized box of Zombie-Away Spray from Faust. Somthing thoughtful from Zhen.

Ruki-Accepting your Flaws by Thantos, from Thantos. A gentle, caring hug from Eyasha. An offering of friendship from Misio. A shocked meep from Zhen.

Claire-An apologetic box of candy and boquet of flowers from our local albino.

Satsuki-A severe glomping from Misio and Zhen.

Satoshi-A clinging tackle-hug from Misio. More wedding plans from Zhen. A pat on the head form Yosh and Faust. A removal of hat and hair tousling from Tago. Sword polish from Thantos

TS-A swift kick from everyone... multiple times

Warui: *smiles sweetly* Sorry, I'm not going anywhere. I'm EM's top favorite next to Ura AND her best friend. So deal with it! Sides I was the one who gave most of you ungrateful people gifts, so there! *sticks out the tongue childishly* *then pouts* I wish someone had given ME a book. But these are pretty stones. *sits and plays with them*

Musashi: *still plans to cut his Zhang's hair when he's sleeping* *innocent smile* *watches the fire flies* So, Tago, when are when leaving.

Warui: "our local albino"--That's Khaine isn't it. Ooooooo! Khaine likes Claire! *sings the song*

Ura: *wonders how a cat could have wings* *goes to write thank you notes*

Satoshi: *runs and hides*

Temacu: *goes about looking around*

TS: *laughs* I love you too.

There was much more bustling about the room and general happiness and\or confusion.

Khaine: *remains indifferent*

Zhen: *glomps Satoshi*

Misio: *glomps Satoshi harder*

Zhen *glomps even harder*

Misio: *continues this process*

Catboy: Poor Satoshi
